“We are better together when United”, says Governor Obaseki as he reconciles Phillip Shaibu & PDP Chieftain, Suleman Egele

Edo state governor , Godwin Obaseki, has taken it upon himself to reconcile his Deputy, Philip Shaibu, with a PDP chieftain, Suleman Egele. According to the governor , an organization is better off united than divided.

During a peace meeting to reconcile my deputy and running mate, Rt. Hon. Comr. Philip Shaibu, with  a PDP chieftain, Barr. Suleman Egele, I reiterated in the need for peace in Edo state as it will help to foster progress and development.

We are better together when United, because with unity, we can achieve more. We are not like some groups with the population of 15 and 20 million. We are not more than five million people, so it is important for all of us to be united.

I know he reconciliation of these great sons of Uzairue would further attract greater progress to this part of our state. That is why when I was told to come and reconcile them, I never thought about it twice.
