#JusticeForUwa; Rape is now a pandemic in our country', Atiku reacts to the rape and murder of UNIBEN student , Uwaila Omozuwa
Former Vice President , Atiku Abubakar has reacted to the r^pe and murder of Miss Vera Uwaila Omozuwa. In his tweets , he wrote :
I just spoke to the family of the late Uwa Omozuwa . I expressed my deepest condolences over her r^pe and murder . I feel their anguish . Sadly , rape is now a pandemic in our country .
It’s time we reviewed the laws on r^pe to ensure that there are no escape routes in the investigation, prosecution, conviction and adequate punishment for this heinous crime
