Femi Fani-Kayode suspends the international scholarship he previously offered to 300 Nigerian students on his wife's birthday

Femi Fani-Kayode suspends scholarship for 300 students

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has announced the suspension of the scholarship he offered 300 students in celebration of his wife’s birthday .

He also said he’s in discussion with other universities. Although There is no specific reason to this , but according to what he wrote, plus what we gathered , the Icon University is not prestigious enough and graduates from that University hardly get a happy ending after school, the CV is not as useful after graduation. So it's nice of him to think of the students' interest/well-being. Hopefully he gets a better deal in a better country because students have already been selected for the scholarship and are already living in high hopes.

Below is what he said;
My award of 300 scholarship to Icon Univ. in Cotonou has been suspended. This is due to some questions as regards the University. All students that have been offered a place should NOT proceed to the University or make ANY payments for accommodation or anything else.

I am in the process of discussions with other Universities and we I’ll be glad to offer scholarships to any of those ones once it it clear that they are accredited and have the best facilities for the students. Snowhite Pure Heart Foundation will give details about the latest initiative as soon as possible. Until then all admission letters to Icon University should be ignored and we advise the students to have no dealings with them whatsoever. Anyone that insists on doing so does so at their own risk. Please be advised.
