Courts bars PDP from conducting Edo primaries, Obaseki not restrained

Contrary to earlier reports; Obaseki not  restrained from participating in the election


We earlier reported that A Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has restrained Governor Godwin Obaseki from participating in the PDP primary election , scheduled for June 25, 2020.

Well going through the suit again, brought before the Court on Monday, June 22 by one of the People’s Democratic Party aspirant , Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama, the preceding judge granted the experte order and allow defendant to serve the parties in the suit through substitutes means . In two national dailies, and adjourned the case to Wednesday June 24, 2020( which is tomorrow).
