BREAKING; PDP postpones date for party’s Primary election to June 23rd 2020 ( Edo gov'ship 2020)



The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has postponed its Edo State primary election to Tuesday , June 23, 2030.



This new development was made known via the official twitter handle of the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan.

This new announcement is based on the I hung political crisis in Edo state . The Incumbent governor, Godwin Obaseki was recently disqualified by the ruling All Progressive Congress , and its obvious that the Governor is contesting under the Umbrella. In a recent video we posted, the Edo state Deputy governor, Philip Shuaibu was seen declaring for the PDP while removing the APC flag from his Office. 
Yesterday, INEC Chairman re-affirmed the timetable set for the Edo primaries.
