Easing The Lockdown: Sanwo-Olu shares guidelines for Public Services, Resturants, Schools, Worship place, Food markets, Banks sectors, and others 




Lagos state governor , Babajide Sanwo-Olu, at a press briefing today Sunday , May 3, shared updated Work   guidelines for all sectors .
According to the state governor , all Civil Servants must work from home on Monday , only officers from Grade 15 and above can come to work from Tuesday . All other essential officers that may need to be at work will be informed by the accounting officer of each ministry .

The governor said there will be daily curfew from 8pm to 6am , but those on essential services like food supplier , agro-services , petroleum and relief materials will be allowed to move during the curfew .

Lagos state food market are to be opened only on Tuesdays , Thursdays and Saturdays from 9am to 3pm , and non-food markets shall only open on Mondays , Wednesday’s and Fridays , from 9am to 3pm also.

Due to the Ramadan fasting , Eateries and Resturants will be open from 9am to 7pm . But there will be no dine-in services in restaurants , they will only operate take-away.

Banks and other private firms are allowed to open with a maximum of 60% of their staff strength , operating within the hours of 9am and 3pm. Private companies and manufacturing firms are to arrange for the transportation of their essential staff that would be at work .

All places of worship will remain closed, education institutions will remain closed till further notice . Authorities will dialogue on alternative means of learning and come to an understanding.

Public transport are to operate from 6am to 7pm daily . Vehicle capacity regulation will be communicated as the NUTRW/RTEAN have been in full engagement on achieving these regulations.

Residents who’s vehicles were seized by LASMA or the police for minor offenses will get back their vehicles back free of charge from Tuesday May 5th, 2020.

In order to stop the spread of corona virus , There will be mandatory wearing of face mask in all public places .
